A new rash of larcenies from vehicles in Stratford has resulted in police again warning residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables.

Over the weekend, eight unlocked vehicles had items removed and one was stolen in the Second Hill Lane area of town said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.

The incidents occurred on Lawlor Terrace, Brooklawn Road, Henry Avenue, Oceanview Terrace, Seabreeze Drive, Islandview Drive and Connors Lane.

"The Stratford Police again urge residents to lock their cars and do not leave valuables or keys in the car," Eannotti said.

If anyone has any information or possible video from security cameras, they are asked to contact the police department at 203-385-4100/4140.
