STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 31-year-old Stamford man is facing drug charges after an investigation by police in Stratford, Bridgeport and Stamford revealed he was operating a regional marijuana business out of houses in Stamford and Bridgeport, according to the Stratford Star.
Marcelino Molino was charged with two counts of sale of marijuana, and one count each of operating a drug factory, cultivation of marijuana, sale of marijuana over a kilogram, and risk of injury to minor, according to the Stratford Star. Police told the Stratford Star that his children were left inside his Stamford home when officers took him into custody during a transaction.
Police had been investigating both the house in Stamford and a house in Bridgeport, where they found items used to grow and cultivate marijuana, the Stratford Star reported. During the execution of a search warrant, police found thousands of dollars, 292 grams of marijuana, and 404 grams of marijuana wax, according to the Stratford Star.
