STRATFORD, Conn. — State police were investigating Wednesday morning after a Stratford police officer shot a person in the Lordship area of town, according to the Connecticut Post.

The shooting was not believed to be life-threatening, but no further details have been released in the incident, which occurred near Russian Beach, the Post said.
