Police were called to a home on Merwin Avenue in Milford on a report of a possible domestic violence incident at around 7 p.m. Sunday. During their investigation, police learned that 25-year-old Sean Delaney-Kosmicki had gotten into an altercation with a female inside the home, police said. During the altercation, he wrapped his arm around her neck and told her he was going to kill her, according to police.

Delaney-Kosmicki was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, second-degree strangulation and second-degree threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Tuesday.

Police also arrested Delaney-Kosmicki on a warrant stemming from a fight with a man in Milford back in January.
