STRATFORD, Conn. -- A 28-year-old Stratford teacher has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a boy who said he may be the father of her baby, according to NBC Connecticut and People magazine.
The sex assault of the boy, who is now 15, continued over a two-year span starting when he was 12, according to NBC Connecticut.
Michelle Sulzicki is charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a minor and risk of injury to a minor, according to Stratford police. She was a teacher's aide who was tutoring the boy when he was in middle school, but now works as a teacher in the Stratford school district, the report said.
The teen said he and Sulzicki had sexual intercourse multiple over two years, starting when he was 12, NBC Connecticut reported.
Testing will determine whether the boy is the father of Sulzicki's 5-month-old daughter, People reported.
Sulzicki was placed on administrative leave from the school district, which is moving toward terminating her employment, NBC said.
