Northbound traffic will be detoured onto Main Street near Pecks Mill Pond and continue north on Main Street until rejoining Route 110 at the Merritt Parkway.

Southbound motorists will be detoured onto Main Street and continue south on Main Street until rejoining Route 110 by Pecks Mill Pond.

Work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. each day and finish by 3 p.m. each day.

DOT said the roadwork is due to the removal of the Stage 1 temporary retaining systems used as bridge replacement work continues.

The $3 million project began in April 4 and is due for completion in November.
