Man Fired Gun 9X Times To Break Up Fight, Warren County Prosecutor Says A 34-year-old Port Murray man was recently arrested and charged after he fired a gun nine times in Warren County on Friday, May 24, authorities said. At 10:15 p.m., police in Mansfield Township responded to Gulick Street after receiving a report of gunfire, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. An investigation found that Kajaun Manley had fired nine gunshots to break up an altercation, Picione said. No one was shot, Picione said. Manley was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Picione said.

Porta-Potties Vandalized By Truck In Hunterdon County Park Police are looking for a trucker who vandalized multiple porta-potties in a Hunterdon County park on Sunday, May 26. At 11:40 p.m., a driver in a maroon Chevy pickup truck with an engine hoist in the bed struck all of the porta-potties in Heritage Park, pushing one into a playground, Bethlehem Township Mayor Paul Muir said on Facebook. All of the porta-potties will likely need to be replaced, Muir said. New Jersey State Police is investigating, Muir said and anyone who can identify the truck or the driver is asked to call 908-730-1600.

Dog Bites Troopers On Route 80: Njsp A loose dog was a little overzealous on Route 80 in Warren County on Tuesday, May 28, authorities said. Troopers responded to a report of a dog running on Route 80 eastbound in Allamuchy Township, Jeffrey Lebron a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. When troopers and civilians tried to capture the dog, they were bitten, Lebron said. The troopers and civilians suffered minor injuries, Lebron said. The dog was captured and turned over to nearby animal control, Lebron said.

A New Jersey WARN notice says the company will begin the cuts to 237 positions at its corporate office in Hoboken on Aug. 14, with more to come on Nov. 1, and Jan. 31, 2025. According to the Wall Street Journal, employees may work remotely but are being asked to spend the majority of their times in the offices.  Employees in other U.S. cities are also facing layoffs, and are being asked to relocate to central hubs, the outlet said.
